Neon pink

I'm currently loving my neon pink infinity scarf which I picked up cheap as chips from Cotton On the other day. It's chunky, soft and adds a pop of colour to any outfit.
It's so much brighter in person, the photo doesn't do it any justice.
Sneaky selfie of me in the scarf.

What do you think of my neon scarf?

Nail art fun!

Here's a quick photo post on what I have on my nails at the moment. I got bored with having plan nails so decided to spice it up. You can use any colour combination to get this look, I like the colours that I have used together. To see a tutorial check out MissJenFABULOUS's YouTube account on how to get the look.
 Nail polish colours I used
From left to right; ESSIE Merino Cool, Revlon Cherries In The Snow, ESSIE Miss Matched and OPI top coat (not shown above)
 The final look

I really like this look, it's nice to have something different on my nails. Things to watch out for when doing this look is that it does take a bit longer to dry as theres more layers and also maybe a bit hard to get neat when using your opposite writing hand. Good luck if you give it a try.

Revlon PhotoReady Concealer

Today I am going to review the Revlon photo ready concealer in light. I don't have very problematic skin so when it comes to using concealers I wear them under the eyes to cover up any dark circles. This one has been perfect for doing this, it blends well and has good coverage. I only need about two/three dots of it to cover under my eye. It is in a stick formation which makes it incredibly easy to use. All I do is dab it on to my face and then use my ring finger to blend it in under my eye and a little bit into the crease and eyelid. Its a very creamy formulation which isn't drying on the skin but doesn't creating any excess oil on your face through the day. It also has SPF 20 in it, BONUS!

Nice packaging, very compact and fits perfectly into my handbag
Lots of product in the stick
I'm in the shade 002 light
Swatch of it on the back of my hand

In the swatch above you can see that it matches my skin tone nicely, although i'm concerned it could be too light for the summer months. Overall though i like the packaging and the way it works on my skin.

OOTD - Girls night out

Here's my outfit for what I would wear on a typical night out with the girls. I haven't been out with the girls in a while so I headed to a close friends house and then out into town for a bit of a dance. As the weather is FREEZING it's more practical to wear jeans and a nice top rather than a dress! Got to be practical now girls :)

The photo's are taken with my best friend Katelin (Left)
 Jacket - Kmart
Top - H&M
Jeans - Topshop (Mine are indigo not blue)
Shoes - Cotton On

Katelin's wearing
Jacket - Topshop
Top - Topshop (similar style here)
Jeans - Just Jeans

Close up of my sparkly flats
Also true colour of jeans

BFF :)

It's always good to take some time out with old friends, we've been taken photos in front of this door for 15+ years! What do you like to do with your closest friends?

Rebel!

Being an avid collector of MAC lipsticks I had to get on the blogger hype and see what the Rebel lipstick was all about. To be honest the colour terrified me and still takes me needing a bit of confidence to wear out. The shade is a deep berry purple that suites the winter months perfectly. The lipstick has a satin finish and stays on for a few hours although it does need to be reapplied after eating and drinking unless you like dark berry rings around your lips!

Ahhhhh beautiful packaging, I wonder what could be inside!
MAC lipstick in the colour Rebel

Swatch on my arm

I found that the colour appears darker in the tube than it does when applied. On my skin it compliments the tones and appears less scary than before. It's also more of a berry/ dark pink colour but has the option to be built up with reapplying.

REBEL on my lips

Overall I love this lipstick for a night out, it has the ability to instantly make you feel sexy! Its a bit of a nightmare to remove as all dark lipsticks are so I recommend a lip liner before application.

Go grab it from your local MAC counter and give it a try :)
